MLTCF Newsletter Vol. 1

Welcome

Welcome to the first edition of the Mountlake Terrace Community Foundation newsletter. Our newsletter will be a mixture of what the foundation is up to, opportunities to get involved, inspiration from other communities, and news important to our community.

What we are up to

We're currently working on several projects and programs. One is a program where we intend to ask for ideas from the community to make improvements to our neighborhoods. The MLTCF would then select some of the projects and provide the resources and funding to make them happen. This might be a bench to take a break on, a community garden, or whatever other ideas the community comes up with. Be on the lookout for this in early 2018. We're also working with the MLT Community Senior Center on a summer concert series at Ballinger Park. We're calling this Mountlake Music.

Thank you to our donors

We wanted to thank the several of you have already donated to help strengthen and build the Mountlake Terrace community. As the MLTCF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

Meet our board

Our board of directors is made up of five Mountlake Terrace residents. You can read a little bit about each of us here. If you are interested in getting involved in the MLTCF or have a specific project or program you would like to see happen in our community, we'd love to chat.
